Once his resignation letter was read to the House late Friday afternoon, Republicans spent the night trying to explain ? six weeks before congressional elections ? how this could have happened on their watch.

Republicans can't do that, only Democrats like Barney Frank can get away with playing with the Pages. (Not sure if Barney's little friend was a minor though.)

Yes he has. He's a complete and total hypocrite. He publicly denied being gay too, calling prior accusations an insult and a slur, since homosexuality was sick, repulsive and criminal.

Don't care if he's republican or democrat. I hope they nail his lying, child molesting ass to the wall.

What a complete and utter dickwad. We need to retain 15 key seats in the house. He was assured re-election. Now it goes to a democrap. I am glad he resigned but maybe he could have come to grips with his pedophilia before he first got elected. :rant:
