Saw this on the weather channel's site today -- the footage seemed pretty one-sided even though they presented both sides...I didn't really see the weather channel relevance to the story, though.

Wow, I lost pretty much all respect for the Weather Channel right there.

Sad thing is, they had more footage of the Hummer off-highway than the current Hummer commercials.

I too just lost some respect for the weather channel.. They havent figured out how to forecast the weather right yet . I wonder what makes them think they are auto journalist ?

That is the same footage that was on Good Morning America (Sunday edition) a week ago. (Easy to spot, since they show an old footage of GM's old headquarters on Grand Blvd, that has been closed for almost ten years and turned over the city.

I saw a stopglabalwarming commercial today with kids saying "tick" "tick" like a time bomb, interjected with "devastating hurricane" "tsunami" "save us"

Wait, it was record hot this year and no hurricanes?

This year psuedo-science and the weather man's vanity were :OWNED:

BTW I need a "not-an-automotive journalist" sign after seeing that commercial

Have you heard the latest pseudo science? Global Dimming....Its supposed to explain why water evaporation tests arond the world have proven global warming false, but I believe evaporation is soley a heat process and can take place in pitch dark! I cant wait until Al Gore gets owned again like he did with his "I invented the internet" thing.

I think the worse trend is "Global Lying"
