Just got my plates today. There are 2 square holes up front but no bracket or any threaded inserts for bolts or anything.
Is there some sort of bracket for it?

check in your glovebox and see if there are two small plastic plugs -- those pop in those holes, then you can use screws (which may be in there too) to attach the plate..if not -- your dealer probably has a ton of these and would just give a couple to you.

ah I will check that out. Probably the same as the ones for the back plate.
thanks

Advance Auto sells these plugs. I remove my dealer vanity plate and plugged the holes with the plugs. They are very large in size. The shaft is about 3/8" OD , 1.5" long, and the cap is about the size of a half dollar. They look like black, streamlined mushrooms.

Well I went to AutoZone and they had a plate mounting kit for $0.99. It has 4 screws and 4 square nylon plugs that are threaded on the inside. Used two of them, they snapped right in the bumper and the plate screwed right on!

You should have had the dealer provide them and put them in, if the state you are in requires plates on the front and back - then it's the dealers responsibility to make the vehicle plate ready. :)

If your going offroad, bend the plate to the bumper and put in 4 screws. Might save the plate

I didnt realize that it didnt have mounting provisions until I received the plates. also, I got the vehicle in Ohio and I now live in North Carolina so it was just easier this way :D
