So that's where that one was shipping too. Did you wire your lights in yet? How about the rear lights?
It looks good! You are one the first owners that we shipped a full size rack to. Let me know if you have any questions.
Tim.

Got the lights on but haven't done the wiring yet. Looks like maybe Monday or later into next week. I had to holler at GOBI for the rear light mounting brackets, they are on the way. Installed it solo, took alittle longer but had no problems. I'm very impressed with the workmanship of this rack, well built, very strong. For anyone interested in the best this is it hands down.
This should be offered as a dealer add on.

- just wondering how long it will take for the shipping and everything and how much the shipping cost....I think I'm gonna go with the Gobi.....thanks.
Crop000s is that the standard rack or stealth?

That is the standard with a sun roof opening. They didn't charge for shipping for members of this fourm.
It took less than two week from time I ordered till it was on my door step.

I'll be up there in the AM. I'll check to make sure your rear light brackets are on their way. Sorry about that!

Tim, I had no idea you could add bike mounts to the rack. Are those made by Gobi, too? What's the make and model of those? That's awesome.
Also, what are the other two attachments further in on the middle crossbar?
How noticeable is the increase in wind noise with these racks?

Not much wind noise at all. Those mounts are mad by YAKIMA. Those are the BOA mounts. That is Kiraco's truck. We have had the bikes up there acouple of times. You have to be careful placing the bikes up there. You don't want to put them through the sunroof/ http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif.
Anyone know how many inches the rack adds to the height? Both the regular and stealth versions?

My standard rack sits 11.75 inches taller in the very front and 6.75 in the rear. It does not sit higher than the factory FM antenna. If the antenna will go under the rack will.
I'm curious exactly how tall the H3 is in total with the stealth, and the standard Gobi racks.
I know Gobi says with the stealth it's 6'9" which seems not right.

I think this was covered elsewhere but whats the law for roof mounted lights? Do they need to be covered? Those PIAAs look so good I wouldn't want to cover them.
There was once a thread on this. Someone said roof mounted lights need to be covered definitely in some states. But I couldn't imagine a cop giving you a ticket so long as you had them off.

I think it varies by state. I'm pretty sure in CA you need to cover them if they are above a certain height.
