I hear alot of the bolt on kits are looks only. I saw the Tuff country lift today, read the instructions, and took a look at the pics. This one relocates the front diff, making the half shaft angle not really severe at all. The kit, to me looks pretty solid. However I still don't like that they dont angle the front of the front cross member to act as a skid instead of a stop. Has anyone used any of the Tuff country products? Any intelligent comments are welcome.

I think it looks great. I really wouldn't know what it would do off road though.

I talked to the Rough country people at the Jamboree in Indianapolis a couple of weeks ago. I talked to a new guy that just designed a 6" lift for the FJ. As far as the H3 they are still having problems with the lift. He said there is a annoying squeak when you drive it. He said the kit will not be available for anther 6 months at least. I voiced my displeasure with all the advertising in the mags etc... and that every time I call they say it will be out in couple of months. He said they made a huge mistake and will not release the FJ 6" till it has been tested tried and true. I will have to admit the FJ did look pretty nice.

yet another cool product that is on the FJ before the H3.
I hope if we keep asking for the cool stuff, some company will finally figure it out and let us spend our money. I have been drooling over the cool winch bumpers that the Fj has available. I know AMstar has one coming sometime soon, but I don't like the brushguard on it.

OK,
But is this a REAL off-road lift or, does the "EZ-Ride" tell the tale!
Translation: Take it EZ or, it will break! :D
