Doe anyone have suggestions as to what are the best Winter Tires for H3 ADV Package? Should I leave the stock 33" BFGs on or should I go with a more dedicated winter tire? This winter will be my first in the H3. Thx! :beerchug:

Aren't the stock 33's Bridgestone Duelers? They should do fine, plenty of siping.

The Bridgestones should do fine in most situations. Get used to how the truck handles in snow and ice. You can adjust the air pressure too to see what works best.

We don't get too much snow and ice in Southern California.

I was wondering what to expect this winter. That's good to know. I know the full-time 4wd will help. :excited:

unless you're making your own way on the tundra. the duelers should get you anywhere you need to in up to 2 feet of snow.

I'm driving around in Alaska with the stock tires on both rigs. That should say it all

I did fine last January and February in Montana with my base :D

This winter, let it snow - I'll get to see how the adventure is with the toyo 33's :dancingbanana:

I always put on studded tires for the winter on both of our vehicles.
they both get studded buckshot mudders, think I'm going to try 255/85-16 on my truck this time.

Wisha you should have fun with all the dry snow you get in Colorado. When and if it snows here, it is usually followed by ice or sleet. Not good driving conditions for any tires.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll stick with the stock 33s and see how they do.

But the "Buckshot Mudders" intrugue me. Can I get the desired effect by firing .12 gauge 00 buck from my riot shotgun into the tires? LOL

Seriously though, are the mudders loud on the road? I had Dunlop RTs on my Explorer and while they were awesome for traction they were *loud*.

We do get the snow/ice/sleet thing here in the winter as well (in no particular order) so I feel for ya H3slate!
