Good morning/afternoon.:)
Well, my mom is in town. I have been forced to watch her video from her cross country train trip- half of which was filmed with out her knowing.
But it ends in Breckenridge and it makes me miss my CO friends.:(
It was a month ago and the Aspens were beautiful.
I am having my tea today. I locked Ken out of the house accidentally last night. He plays poker in the guest house. We have a futon out there but his friend was crashed on it. He triend to fall asleep in my art studio on the floor using some of my sponges for a pillow. Poor thing, when I didn't hear his snoring when I woke up at 5:00, I went out to get him. He was cold and tired.
So he is hating it- will prolly sleep until the tea around 2.
What is everyone up to?

Staying up late (I work nights) to cover the swamp cooler and then mow grass. Hopefully I get to sleep around noon.

Basking in the win of the Devils over Philly. Not quite as sweet as their come-from-behind, 4 unanswered goals to win over the Leafs 3 nights ago, but still sweet. :jump: And Gordo is out of the Chase. AND Rutgers is now 7-0 after a thorough beating of Navy. Life is good.
Boy got up at 6 AM, so we made cinnamon rolls. It's an icky day today, 80% chance of rain all day today and tomorrow, it's all dark and drizzly. They're expecting up to 4". Which is good tho....whatever ate my entire garden has been dissuaded by my fortress of grid wire, glue traps and rat snap traps. I finally have tomatoes, green peppers, broccoli, corn, green beans, lettuce and pumpkins growing. This rain and cooler temps are helping things along nicely. I was going to mulch this weekend, but I think I'll hold off... flash flooding + mulch = waste of time.
Gotta finish putting up spiders in my entry. We're not adding much to the haunt this year, just got some fog machines and built some chillers to make ground fog coming out of the garage (door will be bumped up about 6" with a red glow coming out), and in the cemetery. Thinking of leaving the haunt up till the weekend after Halloween....in-laws are coming then, it'll be easier to hide their bodies. :D

Another fun Sunday at work. A word to the wise. Running from the cops and swallowing 2 8 balls of meth makes you sick. Fukker died a half hour after we got him to the hospital.

Installed dryer/washer, ran new venting for the dryer, cut the grass and mulched the leaves at the same time.:jump: :jump: Took the little pup for a walk (or did she take me for a walk?). Four miles pooped her out....:clapping: She is passed out in the kitchen, but I bet she will awaken when I pull the steak out of the fridge.
Watched MI beat Penn last night, and watched Nascar at the same time. GO BURTON.....
Poor Jeffy blew his engine, or should I say Jeffy's engine blew.:dancingbanana: Poor Jeffy is in 10th place now...what a shame.:OWNED:
Going to cook a giant steak now, with cole slaw and tomatoes.
I want a steak, too!
Sleeping on that damn floor sucked. I got up around 4, after trying to sleep for an hour, and sat at the table with the TV's on something I don't remember, in a drunken stupor looking at the couple hundred I won.:perfect10s:
Finally, I see a light come on and CP with the dog heading to the door.
I jump up and run to the house... Gawd forbid her locking me out again.:(
workin on the house fillin nail holes with spackle and cualking interior trim. SLept till 9:00am , dont think that has happened in yrs. I kinda liked it. :)

Welp, the tea went great- I will try to post some pics one day- maybe later tonite. It was really going great- then I got a call from my Ex.
My daughter had dislocated both of her elbows on the monkey bars. My Ex is really nice and a good dad but lacks any kind of common sense as far as forms or adult type of situations, believe it or not, I am the responsible one.:giggling: So I had to go over there.
She has nursemaids elbow- her ligaments are very lax and when she doesn't use her muscles to pull they dislocate. When she is five or so they should become stronger.
Anyway, I have reset it before but this time it was both of them, I was a little scared to try. So (being Sunday evening) I took her and her father to the ER. The poor thing was scared and hurting bad, it was just so heartbreaking to see and not be able to do anything.:(
But the doctor was great and he showed me a really good/no fail way to reset it in case it happens again. She walked out smiling again.
It has been a weird day, my mother, the tea, and the ER.
Stacy- Post up the Martha pics!:dancingbanana:
Is it the same set up as last year?

This is a medium-hard trail at Grayrock. Few stock vehicles can make this trail and it's the one that ate some sheetmetal on my truck the last time.

That was all media and Toyota people in the pic above. The trail is called Bump and Grind and the driver is the admin for the FJCruiserForums. Very nice and a damn good off-road driver.

This is Big Silly on the same trail that the FJ was on. The pic is so bad because it was getting late and the flash on the camera caught all the dust that was stirred up.

This is where Big Silly got a little squirrelly on "Bents and Dents" Neither driver nor passenger were very comfortable here.:giggling:
