Hey Ryan,

Got the handles yesteday. Thanks a bunch man. Nice job on packing. Just in case anyone is interested.......when I took delivery of my H3 (a year ago next month).....I asked for the Chrome Apperance Pkg to be added on. I had no idea until a couple of months later, that besides the gas tank cover, the handles, and mirrors were overlays. I just said to heck with it, and let it be. Looked ok to me, and the factory ones were pretty much plastic as well......with the same chrome look. Well I received a set of bezel door surrounds for Christmas, and I while I have seen these for sale at various H3 sites......they just didn't do anything for me. There are several kind out there. After getting these, and seeing them in person, I was really impressed with the quality. They are better than any of the factory trim pieces, I can tell ya that. So I go to install them....and.....ummmm........nope........ they wouldn't fit. Why? Because the overlay adds just enough thickness to the overall dimension of the handle to prevent the bezel from going on. Man!!!!!! I pushed, prodded, and tugged, but they were NOT going on. Well my H3 has bling, and I wasn't giving up. Off topic: I don't care who's pro or anti bling.......I get what I like and that's the bottom line. I've read some of the posts on here when it comes to bling vs. black, and I'm just amazed at how crazy people are in debating this issue. I just don't see the point. I do know that I'll never down anyone on this site for tricking their ride out the way they want to. Just not my style. That being said...back to the handle/bezel story. As I said, my H3 has some bling.....and I wanted to install the bezels. Before I found this set that I bought from Ryan (and thanks again man for the deal), I decided I only wanted the bezels around the main 4 doors, and that I would leave the back handle alone. So it was cool to find just the 4 for sale........:D

So I have them now........I'll be changing out the black/overlay ones with the oem set, and putting on the bezels sometime this month.

Just when I think I'm done adding to my truck......DAMN!

I also ordered (it's on another post) the roof marker lights. The new model from GM, and I'll have them Tuesday. I'm excited to install them. I'm an electrical designer for an enginering firm so I'm handy when it comes to things like this. I also installed my head unit and extra monitors in the headrest. My hands were TORE up afterwards, but it was fun.

I've been on this site for nearly a year now, and I have not posted one picture. I'm suprised I haven't taken a beating over that......LOL. But rest asssured that I'll some up before spring gets here, and let the droolers drooool, and the haters......hate. All is good.

:dancingbanana:

Peace

Mark

I know what you mean, I put on the Aries chrome covers over the handles and my new High Tech door handle surrounds wouldn't fit. :crying: I had to buy the factory chrome ones, that cost me over 200.00 bucks, Ooch! With the price of the new handles and the price of the surrounds, I could have almost bought the full billet aluminum handles.
