Anyone else not receiving their monthly Onstar diagnostic report? I wrote them over a week ago, explaining this is the second time they have skipped mine, and I received a strange reply that they are having equipment problems. Just curious, am I the only one?
I had to go out to the vehicle to read my oil life percentage versus reading it in my emails. For you guys who can't read your oil life percentage, you have to be peed off, more than me.

I got mine 2 days ago they havent missed one since last year.:excited: 37% life left.230 minutes for phone
I have a new system with the OLM.
I am using Mobil 1 with a extendard guard fram filter .
When it reaches around 50% left(about 6,000 to 6,500 miles) I change oil/filter (white grease all hinges, pivits ect,E brake cable front and rear, trans cable and WD the door handles+key slot that I never used) and I dont reset it .
then at 0 life ( another 6k 6.5k )I will change oil/filter ect. again and reset.
at that time I will also rotate the tires.
This way I can acually use it.:D

I'd like to know how to check the oil life, too! Also, I've been receiving my OnStar Diagnostic Report on time, once a month. :D

I have only recieved four of them and I have had my 3 over a year now. I emailed them about it, and they said that the vehicle had to be on to send the report. You would think it would try a couple of times, I drive it everyday, is that not enough?

OnStar didn't always have this feature, so it wasn't available from the time you bought your H3. I can't remember how many months they've been doing this .. but it hasn't been a year. Funny thing .. when the dealer had mine for a lonnnnng period of time back in June, OnStar did a diagnostic when the techs were doing a road test. :giggling: I was pretty impressed!

I get the OnStar reports via email (last one was 3 weeks ago) but when I try to register the H3 with the My GM site it says my VIN is invalid.

I got that too, gave it more than the time they said it could take for the VIN to be updated in their database. Contacted customer support and it was working the next day.

Ok, per Onstar, the system is down in some areas. I told them one week, if no report, my next call would be to cancel the account.

If we all complain, that should get their attention! I am pretty good at keeping track of my oil changes, but it is annoying to be told you will recieve monthly diagnostic reports and then don't recieve them.

Got mine on 10/18 :D
and I'm still getting the report for the H3 I traded in too:clapping:
The only time I had problems was when the cable company - who's my online provider started their automatic spam blocker. I had to copy the header info from the email and send it to their "this is not spam" address. Then things were ok after a month.

I called up yesterday to tell the problem to Onstar. They said that it had been sent.
?
Well they sent another yesterday and told me that it would now show up around the 20th of the month. I said fine and sure enough, it arrived on the 20th, yesterday, without any issue.
Let's see what happens for November.

I received one for Aug. Did not receive Sept.'s. I emailed them in mid Oct. inquireing about it. Here's their reply...
"Thank you for taking the time to e-mail OnStar.
We apologize, but due to some system issues we were not able to send you your latest OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics email. We are currently working to correct these issues and expect to be able to send it to you within the next two weeks. Your email will contain current vehicle information when you receive it. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you."
Haven't received one yet.
