Hey guys, I was just wondering; I went to the Line X facility near my house and asked them if they could line x the front grill. They told me that they could not guarantee the work on the front grill cuz it's plastic. They told me that Line X does sitck well to plastic so thats why they could not guarantee it. Has anyone that has had this done to their grill had that problem?

The local Line-X dealer here told me the same thing. She did say however, in order for it to work, she would have to "encase" the grill. If they completely coat it all around it will work.
Did Neocon have to do that?

It's a matchie matchie thing....just looks better.
No real logical/analytical reason.
Nothing earth shattering.....:D

with the Line-X grill meeting the hood it just looked better with both the same. It was pretty clear against the yellow paint.
HummBebe gets some free beer for good taste. :p
As for encasing the grill.. they did that to both parts.

That's what they did on mine too. Haven't had any problems with it.

How much did it cost to get the front grill done? I got quoted $260 to do Rhino Lining. I think I just might hit up Walmart and do it the cheap way. Its not like the front grill has to be that durable...right?

I have seen it on Mark's truck and it looks great. I plan to have it done on my red H3 soon. What about this area in the picture? What about the OEM silver gas cap?

Awhile back I took my truck to Rhino and wanted some shot along the bottom of the body to cover rock marks. They handed me a can of the first product shown on this page. I have not tried it yet. They did not want to mess with just that little strip. It might work for the grill.

Line-X told me they would do mine for $1.00 a pump. Would come out to about 70-80 bucks. Thats if I removed the grill myself.
