Wow!! What a great showing of Hummers! Was this a Hummer Club, dealer event, or just word of mouth? :clapping:

It was a dealer event. I guess they've been going to this ranch for the last two years. It seemed to be geared towards folks who never have been wheeling, but it was still fun enough for those of us who have. The only down side was too many of the trails were too short. But it was something to do on a nice Sunday. That's my H3 with the "Hummer" decal on the lower doors.

Yeah, the HUMMER dealers are required to hold such events for buyers a couple times a year or something. To promote a club like thing and for people to use their trucks for what they are made for.

But not all of it is wheeling- we have gone to concerts, parties and dinners. It's pretty cool. We normally get an invitation by mail.

Cool pics btw.:)

Where exactly was this? Looks like the Hill Country.

I'm building a house on Canyon Lake and looking for places to wheel.

The ranch is primarly used for hunting, and also doubles as a "get-a-way" where you can rent rooms at the lodge. It's between Tarpley and Utopia close to Bandera, TX, in the hill country. It's a place called 7 canyons ranch.

There are several places to wheel in the general area. They are all mostly ranches, that open to wheelers when it's not hunting season. Most of the "off road parks" are in west texas. We used to have a link at AustinK5.net, of Places to wheel, but I can't seem to find it.
