Root if you find a tall flag let me know. I have only found 5 foot bicycle flags. Thanks.

Wow, hate to dust off a fossil of a thread but I have LOTS of flags from up at Silver Lake. We are a big dune buggy family as you may have read in my other posts, my current delimma is the best was to attach one to my H3. Mind sharing how you guys fastened them while running in the dunes?
Looks like the photos may have been lost in the forum move or due to time because I can no longer view them just some HTML stuff.
Thanks!

Never been there myself but I know that some areas require you have one of those flags on whatever you are driving. I would assume that it is to make it easier for others to see you are on the other side of the dune or whatever.

Yep. Pismo requires the same thing. For visibility on the dunes.
WOW its been over a year since I posted those
Havent been around for a while.
I am currently building a Baja Bug for my daughter.
To attach the flag I took a piece of angle and drilled a hole in each side,,unbolted my front d-ring and run the bolt thru one hole in the angle and the flag in the other.
I dont know what happened to the pics but here are a couple.
