thats what we thought and it does have a drilling permit from 1951 , its a metal plate like a license plate the prior was 49-50 so two permits and the creek would probably add up to water drillin rig . it has a gasoline motor and says hercules power at the control panel . any idea when these were built , ETC. etc.
