Getting my 22's on this weekend and wondering what I should do with the factory set. My wheel says to keep 'em so I can swap 'em back on when I sell, but it seems like a pain to keep them around for a few years just to make a little extra money when I sell the car. What have you guys done?

Listen to your wife. Keep them around just in case you need them in an emergency.

Those two quotes go hand in hand.

Keep 'em. Should you decide to go back into the closet, you'd have them available to put back on. :D

Keep them so when they get stolen, you can have something to ride around on. Seriosly.

I know two guys who got those exact wheels stolen. Then, they put the stockers back on, and no problem. Also, I convinced them to go wheeling with me once the stockers were back. And both loved it so much, they vowed to keep stock rims so they could wheel.

Those wheels are awesome looking. I would so run them on my rig if I had some 38" Toyo's for 22's.
Black?black will look great, be sure to post pics.

And how exactly did they get the wheel locks off? Did they have the "key"? (I assume we're talking about locking lug nuts).

That's what I was thinking. I'm not sure how wheel locks work in terms of number of different combos out there. Maybe there's some sort of wheel lock master key. I'm not really worried about that. My neighborhood has no crime and most places that you might visit down here have garages.

Freon + Hammer = No more wheel lock.

I'm running lock sets on my rims. I figure they'll have to bust 32 lock lugs to get 'em...:D

I'm running stock size rims, I can't imagine the cost of those 22s!
