I'm installing a back-up camera and need to wire it to the back-up light wire, anyone know which color this wire is and if it is available in the wires going to the trailer plug ?

Page 4-69 of the Owner's Manual has some info:

The trailer towing harness contains the following seven trailer circuits:
? Yellow: Left Stop/Turn Signal
? Dark Green: Right Stop/Turn Signal
? Brown: Taillamps
? White: Ground
? Light Green: Back-up Lamps
? Red: Battery Feed
? Dark Blue: Trailer Brake

Thanks, I just picked up a back up system over the weekend and was going to start searching threads for the info on which wire to tap into.

I just installed the camera today and it went flawlessly. I hooked up the display and it worked I just can't figure out where to mount it and how to wire it. If you coome up with something you like please post it.

First I did the jumper wire trick which puts your driving lights on with your high or low beams and your parking lights on with your driving lights. Then grab the parking light wire from the trailer harness and the ground from the centre of same and connect to camera. I made a bracket which supports camera below hhitch , uses part of two holes for trailer chains, now I can still use hitch and chains . Made L shaped bracket for monitor and grabbed power off mirror power. Shove L bracket into overhead console and throw pedestal mount away. Now camera is on whenever I want it ,forward or reverse although I usually turn it off going forward after a while cause first day I found myself in wrong lane watching monitor. Driving light jumper trick is on Elcova Hummer site somewhere, try a search. Good Luck! The Rebel
