In my passenger side A pillar. At speeds above 65 the A pillar begins to pop and crackle. I did hear that some others were experienceing this any input on this would be interesting. I can live with it no prob, as every time I go offroad there is a new squeak or rattle that manifests itself.

Sounds like it's time for new roof rails.

More of a loud farting noise in my expert opinion, and yup, it's those side gusts that seem to really do it the best.

See the thread link (scroll up to 2 posts from the top) by K9sH3. The noise is from the vinyl moulding strip that runs along the top of the windshield. It needs to be replaced. The dealers received a notice/bulletin about it. ;)

They did? Do you know the bulletin number, I can't seem to find it on the GM Dealerworld/eSI site.

Sorry f5 I didn't get the bulletin number.... I had the GM dealer look it up and he seemed to find something but I think it might have been about the quantine and not to install marker or off-road lights. After that I called the Hummer dealer I bought the H3 from and he looked something up too and took my name and number and told me he would get back to me when the fix came in. That was about a week before Thanksgiving and I'll probably be calling both back Monday.

Those damn market lamps. I sure wish they would get a fix that works. It does appear they will not meet the November deadline to get the new ones out. :(

I don't think they will meet the November deadline either! :( I took a piece of rubber weather stripping and stuffed in mine. :o Got rid of the noise though. :)

Well, for the first time ever, the dealer service manager told me without ME asking for once .. that they had received a 'notice' from GM/Hummer that the moulding was the problem for H3 owners reporting a loud noise above the windshield at freeway/highway speeds. He told me he had one ordered for me, but they were on backordered. AGH!! Please don't tell me he's pulling a fast one on me!!! I'll call him tomorrow for an update. It's taking too long.
