Picking up a quad tomorrow..looked at my trailer connection for the 1st time & realized its not a standard four-pin connection.
Any suggestions where I can get an adaptor? Is it a dealer-only thing or will any trailer place carry it?
Thanks in advance!

Most trailer place will have a GM 7pin (ithink) to 4 connector. Uhaul has them, as well as wallmart.

Hey dont forget a drop hitch. I have a 12' trailer that I haul my Honda Ranch AT on and I needed an 8" drop hitch.
The adapters you can get at any autozone or autoparts store.

Thats a rack in case I need to haul more machines. :)
I also have a mini-bike and Honda generator in the camper. Plus wifey and three kids in H2. I tried to hook on another utility trailer to the back of my camper so i could hall tandem but it was illegal in some states. Plus i am already 2000lbs. over the GCVWR. :giggling:

Have quite a few friends with them!...ALL EXCEED the MAX tow/Gross combined rating of the H2. ...You must have one of those special Light Weight units! :D ...I'd be very curious to know the REAL numbers? :) ...Even the hyperlite (stock empty) is 1000# over!

We live in the USA, where every "rating" of anything is 1/5 of what the actual limit is.

Well not ALL toy haulers exceed the tow rating. Takes a little time doing research and going to the RV dealer.
No ,I never said my hauler was light. Empty it is under the limits printed by the manufacture. Yes, loaded with all my stuff it is over the printed limit. I didnt post talking about how much the H2 would pull. Will it pull the hauler? HELL YES ,it will pull it 80+MPH thru the W.V. hills. Are there other vehicles better at towing? HELL YES.
No ,I have not had any problems. Iam an HVAC mechanic. Everything will eventually break or wear out. If you work it harder it will wear out faster. When it breaks I will fix it. Just like all the other equipment I fix every day.
I was just posting my trailer not looking for a fight.:beerchug:

I've towed everything from a Jeep to go wheeling (wheeled with the Jeep and towed it back home too), to 10K lbs of equipment, to a trailer load of toys. For where my truck has been and the abuse it's taken, for it to be able to also reliably make those drags comfortably, there is simply no replacement for an H2.
Name one other vehicle that will haul 5 in leather, heated seat, satellite radio, comfort and tow 3K lbs over what the manufacturer suggests without breaking and constantly hit harder than moderate off-road trails that few other stock vehicles can do.
