I did not get tow hitch. I would like to get the factory hitch cut into the bumper doing factory mount. Maintaining some clearance. I was told by a dealership parts. GM makes your buy the whole thing bumper, hitch.

That's ENTIRELY true!!!The bottom HALF OF THE REAR BUMPER IS AVAILABLE FROM gm FOR EITHER A FACTORY HITCH EQUIPPED H3 OR ONE WITHOUT THE factory OPTION..........The PRICE FOR THE HITCH BUMPER IS AROUND $300.00!!!!!!!!!!!I didn't wait for the AFTER MARKET ones that are now available for Half the price of FACTORY...I simply Cut a panel 13.5" wide at the center of the bumper with a metal cutting sabre saw and I think about 4.5" high. I then took it to the dealer and they installed the FACTORY hitch with pleanty of bumper/hitch clearance! P.s...make sure you file and paint the exposed metal after you make the cuts !
