Allegedly attempting to run a Hummer off of Colorado 157 near Valmont Road, a 24-year-old Boulder man was subsequently arrested for investigation of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, resisting arrest and driving with a revoked or suspended license at 3 p.m. Nov. 24, according to reports. Police said the driver of the Hummer, who followed the suspect's vehicle, called in the report to dispatchers, and officers pulled the suspect over near the intersection of 30 th Street and Mapleton Avenue. The suspect refused to give police a driver's license, reports state, saying that they had no right to detain him. Officers contested that fact and forcibly arrested the suspect after some discussion about his rights and their responsibility. Police said the suspect had $1,350 on his person, which was wrapped in a clear plastic bag and 6.7 ounces of suspected marijuana was found in the vehicle. The suspect was booked and held at Boulder County Jail.
