Iam buying the borla exhaust for my H3. Should be here in about a week. Has anyone heard any bad or good about the Borla?

I have the system. Very nice quality and fit. It has a nice deep throaty sound at idle and low rpms but at road speed it has a stock sound. No real HP increase either. But looks good. I would highly recommend it.

My exhaust just arrived today UPS. Can't wait to have it installed. Maybe tommorow.:clapping:

You can remove the stock exhaust as one piece of you want to change back. Place a jack under the frame in front of the rear passinger wheel. The ideas is to lift the frame (not too high to lift the rear wheel off the ground) to provide more clearance between the rear axle and the body. With some wiggling you can remove the stock exhaust from the rear.

I had Boral Stingers on my C-5 Vette. I know, entirely different application. But, Borla makes a very well made product. :perfect10s: I'd be interested to hear how it sounds.:excited:

There are some sound clips on the Borla.com web page.

Tandrew - Get the Borla on yet? If so what are your observations so far?

CHP...thanks for the insight. I have been pondering purchasing the Borla myself and was interested to see you could remove the OEM exhaust in one piece. I may follow the crowd and get one myself.

Had it installed this morning. Has a real good sound not loud inside the cab but very nice sounding outside will give more resualts after driving around for a while.

What do you think after driving your H3 w/Borla exhaust for a few days?

Well after driving around for a while now. The inside cabin noise level in the city is a little louder than stock. However not as loud as my Magna flow on my S10 Blazer. Freeway speeds not much differance. Can feel a little more power on entering freeways. Don't know about any improvement on gas mileage yet. Will let you know.

So far happy with the Borla.

So far happy with the Borla. What is the interior noise level between 60 and 65 mph, that's when many of these aftermarket exhausts begin to drone.

Tandrew,

Similar observations to what I have with the Corsa exhaust on my H3. Slight amount of drone 50-60mph but at normal California freeway speeds (70-85+) almost quiet as stock. I only notice slightly more power when pulling long grades in 2nd or 3rd (auto tranny).
