Hi all, Jumped in my 3 yesterday and the door warning wouldnt go out on the display. So I checked out the doors and my left rear door handle was broke. I couldnt tell until I opened the door and saw the cracked piece. Not the actual handle but the stub part beside it.:( Didnt looked tampered with, just broke. So out to the dealer I go and it was a 3 minute fix :D The service rep said they have replaced quite a few of them allready. Cant say enough about the service at D&D Hummer here in Davenport. Rolled me right in and was installing a new one within minutes. This dealership is top notch.:clapping: Just though I would share this info incase you have a door alarm, it might be the problem. Happy Holidays all,,,

Good info. Nice clean machine. From your pic what are those objects by your D ring and where is the spare?

I am on my 3rd door handle. They are a pos. Even the dealer broke one without trying.

Yes, they are a POS, yes they are having troubles and are supposedly redesigning to make stronger. Don't break a front one, it is a pain in the arse to replace.

It looks like the right rear one has a spear sticking in it! Sorry. Does everybody else notice a lot of slack in the handles?

Yes. And they are a POS not only for breaking, but mud gets inside the split and you have to clean it out to close the door or the handle stays open.

Same door handle on my H3 (passenger side, rear door), is not "broken" per se but I have noticed it sticking.

I think the dealer called them "end caps" I had the same one fall off in my hand when I opened the door. Those things are cheap as they get.

I'm on my third front passenger door handle. I don't have a clue why either as no one really uses that door. The kids sit in the back and I'm the driver. We barely use it as a family vehicle as my hubby usually drives and he likes to drive his Impala as opposed to the H3.
