Here are some pics of the shock kit that santa brought me :shhh:

It seems like I lost an inch or two of ride height after the install. Has anyone else experience this with this kit. It looks pretty cool!!

I have the same set up as you but my shocks are chrome. after the lift was installed and double shocks I got 7 inches of lift. But now I do have a slight vibration.

Tim, the truck corners 100% better. It doesn't seem to feel every bump in the road as bad.

PhilD- I didn't change anything other than adding the shocks. It actually looks okay. If I measure from the ground to the fender flare the front and the back are the same height. It sat a little higher in the front before. I'm not complaining just wondering what might have caused it to drop.

The shocks that are connected to the shock hoop are actually pulling down on the truck. They are opposite the single shock. I guess they are suppose to work against each other.

When I took the shocks out of the box the rods were inside the shock body. You have to pull the rod out to mount it. Sorry, I just did a poor job explaining earlier.:twak:

I have the same set up. No change in height at all.

I noticed it handles the curbs much better at the local Hooters I go to though.

I've had several question about my wheel and tire combo. They are 38x15.50x18 nitto mud grapplers and 18x9 moto metal wheels.

Very nice looking truck!

How much total height did you gain from stock to now?

The reason I ask is because I've got a 6" lift, 18" rims, and 38" tires coming. Was wondering what kind of height I'd gain.

Shocks shouldnt change ride height at all... Those shocks dont have much travel do they?? Looks like they have an inch or two before they are fully compressed..

Shocks shouldnt change ride height at all... Those shocks dont have much travel do they?? Looks like they have an inch or two before they are fully compressed..on the GM IFS, the front rides very close to full compression. Half the H2s ride on the jounce bumpers (bump stops) and only offer an inch or two more compression at most.

On an IFS, the front does not "articulate" up into the wheel wells.
