There are no illuminations from my tow/haul button or from the off button for the climate control. I can't remember if they ever did or if they have burned out. Anyone?

Adam, I just ran out there and looked. It's freakin cold!

Yes, both light up. When you push the tow/haul you also get an orange light on the RH SD of your speedo.

The Off button is also lit up.

They could be bulbs or LEDs, they are designed not to be replaced; however, they can be. If you are good with a soldering iron and not worried about tearing the components apart.:D
I replaced all the component bulbs (radio, HVAC, I/P computer) and all switch bulbs on my Vette with Blue LEDs. Easily to disassemble the components and access the bulbs. Very hard to install LEDs in place of bulbs.:dancingbanana:

Adam,
The lights on the climate control unit are led's soldered onto a board inside the unit. So like f5fstop says, if you're good w/a soldering iron, go for it.
Not exactly sure about the tow/haul unit lites, my guess is there're probably the same.

FYI: the climate control unit is just over $400 & according to the Hummer parts guy, it has to be installed & programmed @ the dealer, if that helps w/ your decision to try and replace on your own.

Mmmmmmm. I like Paragon's solution.

"My car doesn't have any problems a louder radio won't fix" kind of solution.
