Well, I put on the new gobi and went out to our new farm this weekend. We had a blast, Literally! We shot the rifle (.308 Bolt Action w/ 10x4 scope), hung out with the horses, made some trails, got the h2 stuck in a ditch, recovered it with the dozer, tried burgers from two of the local joints, hit the mud hole, and installed a gate. All of this and we were home by 8pm so we didn't piss off the significant others! Here are some pics:

We cut the fence and were trying to make a path over to another field and didnt realize how saturated the ground was on the other side of the fence. Then, we realized the previous owner had made it into a drainage ditch and it was about three feet of solid mud on the other side of the berm! Had I known, I would have hit it with some speed and probably made it across. Instead, I was worried about hitting the trees on either side, and took it slow. as soon as I crested the berm, The front just sunk.

You couldn't even feel the Hummer attached to the dozer! The thing kicked ass! The new ones with the joystick controllers are so easy to operate. We were all playing comfortably on it within 10-15 minutes. Good thing it was out there or we would have been staying the night!

Actually, we have a 240 ft hill that is rocky and steep. I plan to build some hummer trails all over that side of the property. We also have a large stream with a deep, rocky area to cross. All I need is a bunch of rednecks (not hard to find), and bam! I'll have my own Tellico!

Really, Its like a dream come true out there.

Great pics...how many acres did you buy? Does it have a house on it or just land? Being in real estate what kind of price per acre did you pay for it if you dont mind me asking.

No kidding. That terrain shows such promise. What a blast that'd be to doze out a trail. Make sure that obstacles are suited to the H2's wheelbase and not the Jeep's.:giggling:

Thanks to all. Para-hopefully we'll have some folks out there soon! As for Hummer width trails, your darn right! That dozer couldn't discriminate against jeeps even if it wanted to. The blade is 8ft wide!

I love the tires. I had a 1/2" bolt stuck in one and discount tire replaced the whole tire for free! I'm glad I got the $40 no questions asked free replacement. Also they have quieted down after a few thousand miles.

:jump: ! I knew that would draw a response out of you!! I'm sure they drove you crazy on that truck.:D :D :D I see you can't seem to get away from the bling handles, even after a mutitude of hummer swapping! You've just got to have the lux interior, don't you!

Hey Alan. Where is your land at??

your tires look very stiff. Did you air them out at all? I would think if they were at 20 psi g or t that your rears should have gotten enough traction, especially BTIing it, to push you through. Just a thought.

Hey alan, you need to bring that dozer over to my place. I've got 80 acres of wooded area and nothing to clear it with! We could have two locations to go wheelin'. Awesome pics!!

Aren't the Cooper Discoverer STTs really stiff and need to be aired waaaay down to flex. Good to hear you still like them. They'll be my next major upgrade.

They seem no stiffer than the all terrains. They flex fine when aired down as well. however, I dont air down lower than 25 psi though. I broke the bead (on all terrains) when I aired down to 18psi. Also, the reduced ground clearance isnt worth it to me. 25 psi grips fine. Jeeps, etc can get away with 18 psi or lower becausze they are so light. I feel we get a similar effect at around 25 psi.

They are a great tire, at any price. Lucily, they happen to be on the lower side of 37x12.50x17 mud tire pricing.

:D :D :D

The horses are only there until April. Fox chasing and legging would be nice, but I bet it won't happen too often until the cabin is built!:clapping:

I bet the dozer weighs around 15,000 LBS.
