Dextron III or VI in tranfer case???

Was just wonder if Dextron VI is better than III in the transmission would using in the transfer case be a good idea???? Or should I stick with the III ???:confused:

GM says stick with the dextron 3.

GM say that Dexron VI can be used in all automatic transmission, and must be used on the A/T of model year 2006 and later.
I note that changing the A/T fluid from the III to the VI the A/T shifts really better.
GM say that Dexron VI absolutely can't be used in place of the III in manual transmission (for example the Corvette) and transfer case.

Use Dex III in TC and Dex 6 in tranny.

Is okay to use Synthetic Dex III as some have found break-down of dino in TC!

Too late put in Royal Purple Dex III. Alot less clunking going on back there now.
