I love the way this was handled. Not one shot fired.

That was an unorthodox tactic (sometimes they work also). The bad guy was determined until he felt pain and the loss of control in the situation, then he lost his fortitude.

This is pretty much the way similar incidents are handled now.

Another good example, but longer.

HAHAHAHA...the last one where the drunk gets tasered over and over is funny. Well, that is, it's funny now that it's all done and over with and nobody was hurt. Believe me, when you are fighting with someone and having to taser them, it's no laughing matter. The last time I tasered a subject was after he punched me in the jaw. And the guy was an ex-cop himself.

Now he's gonna look you up and find your PETA varmint video. He's probably a liberal, so he'll be mad at ya, but he's a pussy - so the little Ewok, Hobbit, Elf - son of a bitch can just cry himself to sleep.

How long a ride did you to take for cert?

My x26 cert is coming up...

We're not required to get tasered to be certified with it. However, I've been tasered 3 times...full 5 seconds each time. Yes, I'm a moron. :D

Feels good doesn't it... :jump: Why would you do that? Let the Cap't set the example.

That's funny right there. My Captain "rode the lightning" for about 1/2 of a second. I actually took the shot (with the probes) for the full 5 second ride. I now consider the Taser to be THE MOST effective less lethal tool available to Law Enforcement.

Many departments video the training process. That is a damn funny video! We had several big tough guys scream out in high pitched tones while making death faces. :giggling: They are still taking sh!t for that. Makes me laugh when I think about it.
