My soon-to-be-ex wife just told me she's pregnant and has been trying for some time with the boyfriend she picked up right after we broke up....
I don't know what I should feel. I guess I'm happy for her.....

Rough subject Blue...
Keep your head up. All will be ok. I live by the rule that everything happens for a reason.
You'll be OK.
Best wishes.

That really sucks Aubs. Just be thankful the baby isnt yours, you'd have yourself in a much bigger mess down the road. As far as being happy for, well I wouldnt be (but thats me, and according to my ex I'm an *******:) ). Girls always go on a rebound, who knows if it will even last. She'll be in BIG trouble if that happens.

At least your free and now she has to pay for the kid and not you. Enjoy life and do what ya want.
If you get remarried make sure she knows, if you don't remarry make sure she knows. But what ever you do never let her know your having fun.

Guys seriosly cmon, seriosly its hard for someone to go through a divorce and imagine now that person finds out the person he or she is divorcing is having a child. It's hard and its a very sensitive matter, just be conciderate to the situation which BlueHUMMERH2 is in and dont say anything that would upset him more. Again good luck with whatever happens BlueHUMMERH2

If it was meant to be, it was meant to be, Blue. You can't force someone to stay in a relationship. You're so young ... your idea of the perfect mate will have changed several times before you actually settle down again with the right person. Wish her well and get on with your life.

C'mon, I admire AUBS. I think he's a swell guy. But do you really think he's REALLY crying over this?
He's on some table right now dancing with a rough trick named Ted.:jump:
........Blue, if I'm mistaken......Sorry buddy.:D
I've had my share of marriages, and the ones that ended all resulted in the female getting married and pregnant within a year. Both of them are still married to the same guy.... Hummm... That's ****ed up now that I read it....:o
I'll tell you one thing, I didn't sit around crying about it. Go out and get layed for gawd's sake. You're a guy. Do now!

I'm happy I guess. I was more shocked than anything I think. She sent it in a text message after the line, "Guess what?" Then telling me that she'd been trying for a while... Ah well, she gets the STBY award. I didn't want a kid, and that drove her nuts. I told her we were WAY to young to even consider that. And to think that now she has no car (she used to have a nice H3), lives off of this guy, works at an outlet store (and barely scrapes by), and they're trying to find a bigger place to live.... Glad she's got him in that situation and not me. I refused to have sex with her once I knew things were rough because I was afraid she'd try to get pregnant to either make things last or get money. Damn I was lucky now that I know how baby-crazy she really was.
But there were no lap dances from men or any of that. I just moved into my apartment near campus, talked to my roomie, ate some cheesy shells, and then crashed on the floor in my bedroom. Now I'm posting from class! I really need to move to the back if I'm going to keep this up though... :D

I think you expect most to say "sorry to hear this" but if you were already in the process of getting a divorce - this is probably the best thing for you to happen.
I know its painful and heart aching but if you were already on the way out the door this will seal the deal that will prevent you from going back only for more heart ache based on false hopes that will only leave you in misery.
So I say out with the old and in with the new. Go get stoooopid drunk with some buddies at a strip bar with endless lapdances served up by americas finest. Pick your head up, hold it high and keep that pimp hand strong!

Your "soon to be" ex-wife? All I can say is make damn sure you are never listed on the birth certificate as the father due to you being still LEGALLY married when she became pregnant. Then you will need DNA to get you off the hook, as well as a possibly attorney.
Don't know your soon to be ex-wife, but I have learned to never trust an ex-so my book, never trust a "soon to be" ex either.
