Decided to go with the Delphi nav unit thanks to ATRH2's suggestion. The install was quick and turned out great. I mounted a 12 volt receptical to the overhead console facing the windshield, and wired it into the hot side of the maplight. This will also allow me to plug in a radar detector, should I choose to at a later date. This eliminates the power cord running across the dash http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif and looks very clean.
I must say this nav unit is incredible. I like the fact the speaker is built in, the screen colors are bright and clear, it gets excellent reception and is extremely accurate. Another advantage is it takes seconds to move from car to car http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.
