I am trying to trace the 12-volt red wire from the trailer hitch to see where it comes into the engine compartment. It is suppose to come out on the driver's side where most of the cable looms are between the master cylinder and battery.

Can you refer me to the page in the Helm manual or a happy snap that might show it?

Behind the battery there are 3 connectors right by eachother. The one you want is the larger one with 16cavities. From there it runs into the fuse block to fuse 84.
Hope this helps.

I am assuming it is this wire loom. There appears to be at least two reds.

It's that large red wire in cavity 8. The smaller wire is actually orange. You can always use a cheap test light to see if it always has power on it to be sure it's the right wire.
