So there's no football for this weekend and we haven't had a local event in a long time.
We will start with brunch at my place followed by a quick GPS lesson for whoever wants one and then we will have a GPS scavenger hunt. You will get to waypoints using the shortest method possible and take a picture of yourself at each stopping point. Once everyone has hit all the waypoints, photo-documented their arrival at each one and made it to the finish, we will compare odometer readings to see who was most proficient.
This will obviously require GPS devices and digital cameras. Please bring extras if you have them. You do not need your own GPS receiver or camera to participate. However, Car Toys will be extending the Autotrek Member discount to everyone who wants to pick one up beforehand.
All participants will receive a free AutoTrek club membership good for all kinds of automotive discounts around town, free roadside assistance and a free oil change http://www.autotrek.com/join/index.asp (http://www.autotrek.com/join/index.asp). Grease Monkey will be participating and there will discounts on everything for all participants from Car Toys.
The winner will receive a $100.00 gift certificate courtesy of Car Toys, and AutoTrek.
