UGH! I rolled all the windows down and added the bling fuel cover with Hummer name on it...

Went for a ride, all the windows went up, BUT THE DRIVERS SIDE, and the locks don't work. All fuses fine. The back seat drivers door window works.

The key fob makes the h3 think the doors are looked after hitting the lock button. The door does not lock, open it and the alarm goes off.

The fuses work, O Ohm's on the volt meter, good battery, tight terminals, no message on the panel. It looks like I am going to the dealer Monday morning with an open window in 20 degree weather! Good think I have heated seats - and they still work!

Any Idea's??

Sounds like maybe a connector behind the door panel worked loose. Shouldn't be too hard to remove the trim panel and check.

When you installed the fuel door. Did the copper ground braid get disconnected?

The same exact thing happened to me today. All windows except the driver side are working, powers lock suddenly stopped working on both the passenger and driver side. Remote key only arm/disarm the alarm and does not lock/unlock the vehicle. I checked the fuse as well and its not blown.
The driver window is stuck in the closed position. My rear door is stuck in unlock position. I will have Hummer check it on Monday.

I got mine fixed. My AT is programmed to lock all doors in Drive and unlock when I place it in park. Maybe when I parkied in an uphill, the AT lock/unlock sensor got stuckin between.

On my way home today I put the AT from D to P with a little froce than normal and everything worked after that! I hope that its a one time issue only. Like when my horn fuse blew a couple of weeks after I added an airhorn, it has been months and the fuse is still OK. If it happens again then I might have to bring the H3 to the dealer for a broken sensor.

Do you have AT or MT? If its At, its most likely the same as I had.

I have the automatic. Same symptoms thought... I plan to look at a few things today, but very carefully. Don't want to give the dealer a reason to say I did it.

Had the same problem. In my case the molex connector on the harness between the door and the dash came apart. Dealer had to remove door panel replace connector and fix the mounting.

Had same problem on an 04 colorado dealer took door part unplug connector from window switches etc. then plug it back in 10 min later. temporary fix. said they would have to replace the switch module. Also found that if i thumped the outside of the door good and hard a couple of times it would start working.

I dropped it off at the dealer this morning. They said the connector inside the door came apart where it plugged into the controls. Seems they have those clips to stop that from happening, guess they failed.

After talking with them, I could have taken the panel off and fixed it. My luck, I would have broken the door panel removing it. :D
