For those of you that remember, my e brake failed 2 weeks ago and my H3 rolled into a tree. So far there $6000 in damage and they haven't even taken it apart yet. The dealership has tightened my ebrake 3 times over the 7 monthes I've had it, but somehow do not have any of them documented on their paper work. Needless to say I wasn't very happy about the lack of evidence. However my insurance had no problem in covering the accident, but I still had a $500 deductable. I talked to the dealership about takign care of my deductable and they offered me $100 toward an accessory. I then asked them if they really thought that was a fair offer? I told the man that I will be trading mine in the day the V8 comes out. To quote Benjamin Franklin, "I wouldn't be penny wise and pound foolish," if I were your boss is what I told him. In a later conversation he said his boss wouldn't let him take responsibility for the ebrake. I said ok. Well I tell you what. If you give me a $500 gift certificate with no experation, I will be back to buy another truck from you in the very near future. If not, I will go elsewhere. He called me back within the hour and said he would have it the next time I came in.

Also my truck was supposed to come with a trailering package, but didn't. So he giving me a set of GM rocker rails for $166 (dif in trailer and gmdirectprice of RRs). Talk about trying to keep their customers happy!

Hendrick hummer of Cary NC is all about their customer service. I will be back in hurry to get my new one. Definitely love their responsiveness to keep me happy. I didn't even tell him that my dad is buying one in 2 years when he retires.
