Back in college there was a guy that gave a presentation each year about the JFK assassination, he would divide time between the various theories and it became something we went to each year.

Just last week I read another theory that a Secret Service Agent actually fired the fatal shot by accident as the motorcade sped away. He was in another vehicle holding a newly issued rifle and as he swung around to take a shot at what he thought was the assassin, his weapon discharged as he went off balance when the vehicle sped up and by a one in a million shot hit the President in the head.

You should really watch the 2-hr History Channel show called ?Beyond Conspiracy.?

Only about 1/5th of it is new info to me, but it put it all together to show that the conspiracies are unnecessary. The psychologists point out when you have a perceived catastrophe, as it was, there?s a common need for meaning that you just can?t get from a crazy ex-Marine shooting for attention. The healing requires something bigger. And, of course, Oliver Stone?s paranoid hatred of the establishment and his complete fabrications led many astray (e.g, Garrison never gave the closing arguments, the jury was not moved, and Clay Shaw was acquitted after 50 minutes of deliberation. Before trial, when Garrisson was told how his primary witness broke down and admitted he was lying when given a polygraph, Garrisson threatened the asst. D.A. who broke the news to him and put the witness on anyway. Garrison was no less nutty than Oswald or Ruby).

Oswald?s own wife and brother explain how/why he did it. Summary: he was an attention-craving nut all his life and things had just completely fallen apart for him.

Magic Bullet: A magic bullet is only required if Connolly was facing forward, sitting squarely, at the same height as Kennedy, and directly in front of him. Instead, he was sitting in a fold-down seat, which was lower and 5 inches to the left of Kennedy?s. Further, he had just heard the first, missed shot, and was looking to the right. Modern 3-D forensics show a perfect line from the sixth-floor depository, through Kennedy, and into Connolly?s wound.

Back and to the left: B.S. Entrance wound was on the back of Kennedy?s head. In the frame-by-frame you can see his face coming off (exit wound). The fact that his head moved in any given direction has nothing to do with the ballistics. If you don?t believe me, fire a .303 at a water mellon. It won?t move. It might explode, (like bits of Kennedy?s face flying forward), but it won?t move. They proved this on Myth-Busters. Rifle bullets have a lot of energy, but little momentum. Energy kills; momentum moves things.

Clearly both rounds were fired from the depository.

80-yr-olds can easily fire off the 3 rounds in 6 seconds. Easy. Oswald was a good shot in the Marines (contrary to opposing statements). History Channel showed his qualification targets. He kept 5 rapid-fire rounds in a 3-inch group at 200 yards?more than twice the distance at which Kennedy was shot.

The ?Magic bullet? was forensically matched to Oswald?s rifle. It was not, in fact, ?pristine.? It wasn?t mauled, but it was a FMJ and would not be expected to fragment. Oswald?s prints were on the rifle. He was seen entering the depository with the rifle. He later shot a cop while fleeing.

If Ruby was sent by the mob/commies to shut up Oswald, who was supposed to shut up Ruby? Then, who was supposed to shut up the guy who shut up Ruby? Who was then to shut up the guy who shut up the guy who shut up Ruby? Etc? Why has not one mob person in over 100,000 hours of wiretaps of top mob figures, including those with absolute immunity, ever mentioned all of this? Because the mob is afraid of the gov?t? The opposition party currently accuses the current administration of genocide without being tortured, so that can?t be it.

Did you know that Oswald tried to shoot an Air Force general weeks before the Kennedy assassination? Why would the Soviets or mob have him do that before a planned presidential assassination? Doesn?t make sense. Oswald shot the president to get attention, and Ruby was a nut who loved Kennedy and thought he could be a hero.

I saw a documentary on this recently (maybe the one you mentioned) that reenacted the shooting. They used dummies made of ballistic gel, with bones and everything, and placed them in the same positions that JFK and Connoly would have been in. Then a sharp shooter fired from the same height and angle. They were able to recreate all the wounds with that single shot. Pretty interesting stuff.

...I did in fact stay at the Hotel that JFK stayed in the night before he was shot. I'll be staying there again this evening if any of you want me to do some investigation.
