Hummer haters in San Fran area?

I've heard a few times of damage to Hummers due to jerks. I live in Alaska now but my job will move me to the San Francisco area this summer.

Anyone know what type of jerk's I'll run into down there?

The only thing that I've gotten here is notes on my H2 'thanking me for burning up the ozone layer'.

I lived there for 10 years('88-'98) and let me tell you you're in for some "fun". Every kind of wacko, kook or homo with a chip on their shoulder(or up their backside) lives there. If you're a straight, white male you're already the root of all evil. Add a Hummer to the mix and you're in for fireworks.

I've been down there twice since owning the H2 and I've driven something else both times.

If you are going to live in the city the H2 is not the best of vehicles. Due to tight parking and the normal wacko.

If you live in the Bay area you wont have a problem. I bet theres more H2's and H1's around here then anywhere http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I see on a average 1-5 H2's a day and at least 2-3 H1's a month around here.

I live in Oakland across the water from Frisco and I have just gotten flipped off a few times around here. I have not taken the Hummer to San Francisco because frankly I hate frisco. Driving their is a hassle and parking is worse. I parked my truck at the IKEA in emeryville 2 weeks ago and when I came out there was a note on the window that said I am seriously over comphensating for something. I would say that you probably will have problemd in frisco. One place I will never see my H2 is berkeley, I know I will come out of where ever I go to out there and see stickesr all over the vehicle along with key marks. So I stay away from there.
