OK after following this forum since the H3 was borned (as felsmann) I finally took delivery of my 5 speed 2007 Adventure Slate Blue H3 a wek this past Sunday. It took extactly 6 weeks from the day I ordered it. I used a GM Supplier ID and got it for a few hundred bellow invoice.

My luck was that the day it went into production was the day they put the new armrest into action!! Another detail I noticed they fixed was the carpeting to the right of the accelerator, which from previous test drives I remember it used to pop out and make it difficult to fit the right foot in. They also added a footrest for the left foot. It looks like they have been listening at GM.

The day after I got it I put the Ready lift kit on, and replaced the tires for 5 Maxxis Bighorns; 315/75-16. -The original tires are still available if anyone is interested. By Wednesday I had the Gobi rack on, it was easy and straight forward.

I must thank all you guys for the great amount of information on this site; although some times kind of a teddious process to get through the ocassional bickering... entertaining nontheless :giggling:

Congrats on the truck.. Lemme know what you think of the Bighorns.. I was looking long and hard at them, even ordered a set, but they were out of stock and on backorder at the time.

Great looking rig you got there! Did you notice any significant change in drivability, shift points, after you put those meats on there? :beerchug:

Stagger, I couldn't tell you about the difference with the tires because I only drove it with 33's from the dealer to my home, then to the tire shop the next morning.

I have a manual tranny so shift points would be kind of relative. I can tell you that on streets it feels very torquie, I never have to floor it, on the highway it is a different story, but I never feel severely under powered. I have been able to get on and off the freeway and pass without pushing the engine much. It doesn't feel any weaker than my previuos S10 Blazer.

I've also been keeping the RPM's under 3500 until I get a few thousand miles on it. It probably doesn't make a difference, but I have always done that with my trucks... piece of mind.
