Just got back for a long vacation. It's good to be home, just in time for Moab.
Nicaragua and Costa Rica are great places to vacation. There is hardly anyone there. We saw dozens of beaches that literally have no one on them, including the one we stayed at. I highly recommend it.

Nice pool at our resort (www.morgansrock.com (http://www.morgansrock.com))

Purty sunsets:

I drank 476 of these:

and 214 of these. Note the volcano in the background. You can drink everywhere there - in cars, on the streets, you name it.

...out of curiosity:
How were the locals towards you there?
Did you venture outside of the resort..or stick close?
Are you still pi$$ing from all the beer you drank?
Great pics CO!!!!!!!....thought about taking the family there, but always seem to end up going back to Cancun, Cabo, or Maui/Kauai.....

The locals were very friendly, but we didn't have a ton of interaction with them. Nicaraguan people are very formal and respectful of other's privacy so they leave you alone unless you start up with them. Then they are great. No one speaks any English. It's not taught in school like most other countries do. My sister and brother-in-law were there with me and they speak pretty decent Spanish so I was mostly watching their conversations and getting the report out aftewards.

I managed a business here in Miami for 4 years and 90% of my employees were Nicaraguan. Great people, very polite, excellent spanish, very honest, good work ethics.
