Does amyone have instructions on getting the rear pillar trim off? I plan on mounting LED strobe lights above the rear lights.
I do not want to get rear ended when I work wrecks.

Remove the little cover above the rear seatbelt anchor and remove the screw inside there. Remove the seatbelt bolt with a T-50 torx bit. Pull the swing gate weatherstrip down a bit and pull out on the panel. It should jut pull out, the upper and lower panels are seperate, they just clip together.

Open the rear door and pull the weather striping back and if i rember right there are about 6 screws that you need to take off. Haven't done it yet but am getting ready to take them off to run power up to some led clearence lights. Also if you plan on installing wig-wags the h3 is a ground side switched system. Splice into the pink wire about 12 inches back of the passenger headlight. Headlights have to be on and on dim for the flasher to work.

I'm confused...
Do you mean the upper and lower rear trim panels that contain either a small compartment or a subwoofer?
If so, peal back the rear door weatherstrip and pull the panels out far enough to run wire under them. That is if that is all you want to do is run a wire (or wires). There is no need to completely remove. You might have to remove the rear sill molding, can't remember.
I do know that when I installed the rear camera and ran the wires from there to the front, I only pulled the panels out slightly and fished the wires to the front.
No need to remove the seat belt bolt unless you want to remove the complete panel. Not sure about the six screws?

I looking at removing the outside rear pillers to install the LED's. Not sure about putting the strobes inside the rear tail lights yet. Little at a time. The next one is to install LED's in two of the front grill openings. Thanks for all the help.:beerchug:

There are four clips, two facing toward the front of the vehicle, two facing toward the center of the vehicle

Pull applique inside edge outward in order to release clips, then pull applique outward in order to release retainers.
