I nee to find out how much interest there is in a STealthbox for The SUT. I am talking with JL and if there is enough interest they will make us one, I will also be organizing a one time group buy at a great discount for them.
Please respond and let me know if you would be interested.
They are not sure where the placement would be m but probably not under the rear seat, so that we dont lose the midgate functionability.
two options so far, are under the console, possible under the front seat.
THey also have a new sub coming out that is THIN and may consider placement in the rear door if it wont afffect the rear window. thanks.

I'm interested. I have the box that was really made for chevy trucks and such at subbox.net under my rear seat. I have a JL 8w3v2 in it with a 250/1 powering it. I just think it is a shi*ty design. The downward firing sub kills the sound.. you have to remove the plastic shell from under the rear of the seat, and then you can't fully use the extended tailgate functionality thing.
If JL can come up with a good option, then I am in, but I don't want something where all the sudden my rear passengers can't get air because I have to cut the air vents under the center console :violin: or anything like that...

JL specifically mentioned the rear air ducts, they wont make it so that they have to be cut. They will design the box around htem if they put it in there.

What kinda details are you looking for? I have another post that has details about getting it made.
we have to have enough interest in one, and then have to find someone in florida that wants to let them use their truck for the mold and they get a free box. other then that there are not any more details.
I can tell you that we did this in the x5 a couple months back and it worked out great.
the group buy was about $200 off retail pricing so it was a good deal too. I just need to know if their are enough SUT owners that want one.
