I just got a American Eskimo puppy Peek-A-Boo (or Boo) he's 15 weeks old.:excited:
My other eskie died last month he was 16 + years old.:crying:
My other dog didnt like the car so Im starting this one out with small road trips,he did great on the hour drive home yesterday and took him to PETCO today .
I folded the bottom part of the seat up and added 4 small pillows behind them to even it out then used a twin comforter over it .(Im going to pick up a gray one or one that matches interior better.(Blacks out white hair )
It also can be easily adjusted to 1 seat 2 seats or 3 seats as in pic.
It will work great for the many road trips and wheeling over the next 16+ years or so we will do with our new puppy.
The dog is so friendly and playfull and likes other dogs also(my old one attacked everyone and thier dogs  )

Cute pooch. :D
I do the same thing with the seats when I take my dog. Keeps her from flying into the footwell when I hit the brakes. :giggling:

What a great looking puppy!! Love the floppy ear in the pic. Sorry to hear about your loss last month. :crying: Glad to hear this puppy found himself into your life. By the way, you said that you 'folded the bottom part of the seat up and added four small pillows." I'm trying figure out how you had folded the bottom seat up? I guess I should try to do it before I ask you here. LOL.

Hmmm ..the seat part of the seat(the part your but sits on:giggling: )pulls up and foward as you would do to open up cargo area .I just didnt put the back of the seat down. That leaves a gap between the bottom and the back of the seat thats still upright. I used 4 pillows to fill the gap so it flat.
This way as sewie said the dog doent fly into the footwell when you brake hard, also the seats wont get beat up and covered with hair.
Peek-A-Boo likes the whole area to himself http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif
The floppy ear might go away as he grows,my wife hopes it doesnt.
She had the name picked out before we got him and his ears said Peek...A...boo so that was the dog for us :)

Ohhhhhhhh that makes sense now, fourfourto! Thanks for explaining. That's a great idea!
I hope Peek-a-Boo's ear stays like that, too. Gives that little character a special look.

I found a couple ideashttp://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/images/icons/icon3.gif for the comforter,The light one might be better for the hair.
The one im using now is for my camping airbed, the cameo might look good .
I dont use the back seet much so I might leave it like that a while.

Ok, ok, fourfourto ... rub it in. LOL. I can figure out some of the mechanical stuff on the H3, but not how to fold down the rear seat. LOL. :twak:
I'd go with the lighter color for a light haired dog. We have a cream Pomeranian and light is the way to go. Pom's have a double-coat of fur... I rather see the fur on her and not in the home or H3. :giggling:

I like the lighter but going to look for one more like a desert storm color
Eskimos also get a second coat(we dont buy anything black).
Pic of my dog JR nitro(1st one was nitro) it was taken in his prime around 1994
