I recently purchased a used 2006 H2 with 16K miles. The dealer I purchased it from, stated that the guy must have kept the key fobs ,the floor mats, and the owners manual (I can only guess to sell on ebay). The dealer gave me 2 blank GMC key fobs, however they need programming. Does anyone know how to program one of these to hopefully save me the trouble of driving 2 hours so the Hummer stealership can charge me God knows what? Thanks in advance...Jamie

I tried the instructions, however when I get to the step of where the doors should lock and then unlock to confirm programming....I get nothing. I checked the battery and even tried other GM key fobs. Any advice? Thanks...Jamie

It should work as stated. I have done it several times. Are you holding the door lock switch on the fob and not the door? Should be holding the fob lock down, etc.

Yes. Does the fobs have to be a certain one? I have one that says GMC/Lear and another that says something different.

Do all 2006 H2's have the key less entry? I hope so for such a vehicle. I tried replacing the batteries in both fob's but I arrive at the same dead end of nothing. I guess I will have to pay th dealership.
