bad day for my H2

2. yellow light on dash & tranny won't shift
I'm just venting, it will go in tomorrow, I hope it is a quick fix.

My tranny fluid temp gauge usually reads low like 110 - 120. I was on the highway for 10 hours this week and it got up to 150 or so. However, off-roading in low gears may push the temp up further.

My tranny temp never goes above 110-120 either.The transmission cooler in front of the radiator helps out a lot. My last chevrolet truck had the cooler also and it ran about the same temp.

Hi Paul don't panic I get mine back tomorrow almost for the same thing I lost first gear in drive and also when I shifted down to first I lost that to it started out in second also my key would get stuck in the ignition and I also had the yellow light on in the dash. The fix was they replaced a faulty ignition switch. Good as new they tell me so ask your dealer to look into that it might save them some time.
