PM Session Registration 12:30 to 1:30

Off-Road Activities:

This HUMMER Happening provides the perfect opportunity to demonstrate
the extraordinary capabilities of your HUMMER vehicle. For the
off-road beginner, the driving trails will provide a simple yet
effective environment for learning to tackle different off-road
situations. Off-road veterans will experience more challenging
vehicle obstacles located throughout the course.

Because of the various skill levels of participants, a basic
orientation course will be held. This session will cover safety
issues and the rules of the road. It will also address the
seriousness of the off-road experience that drivers will embark upon.

You can save time by making a few preparations first:

Prepare your HUMMER - fill with gas, and check the oil and tires.
Clean the windows and headlights.
Prepare your equipment - make sure you have everything you need in
proper working order.

Also, please be aware that . . .

Participants planning to drive at the event must be at least 21
years of age or older and must show a valid driver?s license
and proof of insurance.
Participants bringing children to the event are required to
provide and install their own children?s safety seats.
All participants are required to wear their seat belts at all
times while participating in any HUMMER Happening driving
activities.
Use of alcohol is strictly prohibited during the event. Any
participants believed to be under the influence of alcohol will
not be permitted to participate in any driving activities.
Any vehicle damage, repair and/or towing required while in transit
to, while at, or returning from a HUMMER Happening, is the sole
responsibility of the individual HUMMER owner.

insurance (must provide proof)

Any off road pics or info? All they have on the website talks about drifting, racing, and Muscle car shows. I'm looking for anything on what it's like to off road there. We are staying at Chateau Elan that weekend, so this sounds interesting......

Yes, its actually on the land right next to the track owned by the panoz family. They just let Hummer use it (I think). I'll post some pics from the last time I was there. You should definatley check it out. The fisrt time I went they had guys with pressure washers on trucks to clean up our trucks and a Cuban Gentleman rolling us fresh cigars. I don't know if we will get the same spoiling this time, but its always a good time.

Crap, I was planning on going to the early session and then head out to the lake. I only live about 10 minutes from there so I could still sleep till 8 or 8:30. I may rearrange some plans and go to the afternoon session.

Hey Alan did you break anything on your truck? How long did it take you to clean up your truck? I used $14.00 in quarters on mine and I didn't attempt the mud hole. RK

Hey Man. I think something is up with the transfer case? Scurry said that my front two wheels were not spinning. The truck is still dirty. I'll probably try to clean it up tonight. Usually I spend about what you did at the pressure washer, then take it to the detail place!! Which H1 were you? Good times, man.

I was in the Mesa Dusk 4 door Hardtop. We had a good time also. My son loves the Hummer event. I hope everything is ok with your truck. There are some good pictures of your truck at this link.

Cool. That mesa dusk color has got to be my favorite for the H1. That was a fun day for sure. I'm taking it up to Lou sobh on Thursday. Its still under warranty, so whatever is up, it should be covered. Thanks for the link, there are some good shots on there.
