Figures, I had it TiVod for the longest time till somehow it deleted itself. I don't see it on the guide as being aired again anytime soon. I'd LOVE to get a copy of it if someone has it and can hook a brother up? :D

seems like those clips are not the full versions....i wonder if you can buy a dvd of the program?
From what I've seen in those clips, I don't think I'd want to see the full version...
The moment they started describing the H2 as being built off a Tahoe, and insinuating that the H3 is a ride for women or "girly men", my stomach turned. The H2 and H3 don't get the cred they deserve as off-road vehicles in this joke of a production.
Does GM even review this crap before they give it a thumbs-up?

i watched the whole show when it aired on TV and it was quite interesting, parts of it, like the comments about the ties to the Tahoe didnt sit well with me either. I liked the show since we rarely if ever get to see anything hummer related on tv or otherwise.

I am not sure if its the price tag, the people who uses these vehicles as road queens, or the "green" people who just dont understand. But this vehicle, that gets just about as good of fuel milage as a Ford F150, and the same as a Ford Excursion, gets a bad rap for nothing more than its looks and stature.
Forgive me if I offend anyone, but there is a lady in my town with a Black hummer, all decked out in chrome. She has the big chrome HUMMER on the rear bumper, and to top it off, a large chrome HUMMER sticker on the front windshield. Like people do not know its a hummer, and to me, she just wants to flaunt it. That , IMHO gives that rest of us a bad rap. We are looked at as people with something to prove, and *******s.
My Jeep, a small light weight vehicle, gets areound 12-14 MPG, and no one has said Boo about it, and very few hate them... Why? Well they are cheap, rustbuckets, anyone who wants one can get one.....can....
The H3, a more capable offroad rig in my area due to tight trails, is called a womans machine... probably due to the H2's rep as being a car for the small penis people...
It makes me sick!:lame:

Just cause you may not like to fix yours up doesn't mean that people who do are the "bad" Hummer owners. And the last time I looked around there are a lot more vehicles out there that are fixed up as well. Those damn Scions! They're evil!

Different strokes for different folks. I'm sure someone out there will think you are "flaunting" it if you modify it at all. Chrome rims, off-road gear, blacked out... They might even think you are flaunting it if you leave it stock like you have nothing to prove...
Who the hell cares? If you are worried about getting a bad rap for driving a Hummer, maybe you shouldn't be driving one.

If you were here a few months ago, there was a guy in Durango, Co that sold his H3 because the locals were flipping them off, and acting like they were shooting his family with thier hands. Its a town that most hummer owners in that thread were avoiding and not giving business...
People who are against these machines tend to pick out the ones that are modified over the edge in thier opinion. I feel that they would target someone who has thier rig decked out as I described earlier....
Totally my opinion.... and I do feel that some of thise vehicles give others a bad taste to hummer owners.:lame:

Here is a picture of his H3. It doesn't seem to be modified at all. Certainly no chrome Hummer logo on the windshield to provoke any rage.

Before I got the chance to ride in and drive a H2, espically off-road....I too would tell my friends that are owners "its just a tahoe with 35" tires". Shame on me. Now I know. What really proved it to me was that big snow storm here in CO. Myself and my Fiance drove from Greeley to Lousville in that storm, and were one of the only vehicles not stuck. I did manage to get stuck once but it was due to me going somewhere I shouldnt have and the front mounted winch got me out.
What an amazing vehicle. I felt safe in that storm. What a Vehicle that in stock form I was able to get through that storm! Hummer!!!!

You did offend me. From now on please refer to it as an African-American Hummer. Unless, of course, it's a black Hummer from Romania, then please call it an African-Romanian Hummer. If it's a black Hummer, and you have no idea what it's origins are, please either don't refer to the color at all or call it an African-Hummer-of-Unidentified-Origins-But-Clearly-Not-White-South-African-or-Mediteranian-African-Hummer. Please, let's try to be a little more sensitive here.

I could honestly care less about what other people think about my truck. I get the whole spill at work, nearly everyday about, "why a Hummer?" "What kinda mpg do you get? Also, most think I bought it to try to prove something. No, thats so far from the truth. I liked the truck since it came out. I had never drove one, until this year. Once I did...I was sold. I thought about the pros and cons, and purchased 3 days later. It's funny, I had a Dodge Ram 2500 with oversized wheels and tires with a 6 inch lift. The thing got about 14 mpg average. Plus it was a diesel, and at the time diesel was the highest gas going. I never got the same responses that I do with the Hummer, other than "hey, nice truck". So, to each his own, if I choose to bling it out, or sit on stock...who cares. I paid for it!:excited:

Might need to upgrade your collection of video codecs. Search for K-Lite codec pack. DL the basic set and install it. Should play just fine if you play it thru Windows Media then.

John,
H3 owners get the same crap from the uninformed public. I've had so many people tell me that my H3 is just a Chevy Colorado with 33" tires. I love to prove them wrong. :twak: I took my inlaws to a nearby hill that is so rocky and steep that only ATVs use it. After locking my H3 in low and engaging the locker, we effortlessly crawled to the top. About a week after I bought my H3 last November, we got hit with a huge snow storm. They didn't plow our street for several days. My H3 was one of the few vehicles still moving. You should have seen the looks of awe I got from the minivan owners that couldn't get traction or were stuck on snow banks. :D After driving our H3 in the snow, my wife was instantly convinced that we made the right decision to by a Hummer. It's the safest, most sure-footed vehicle I've every driven in the snow. Even my old Chevy pickup with chains on all 4 are no match for the Hummer.

I get the same stupid questions about my Hummer. Exactly, who cares? I'm normally very patient and try to be the Hummer evangelist and convert them. After I tell them what kind of mph I get, they usually realize that their truck or SUV isn't any better. Everyone's ride is their personal choice and we should respect that. That's like telling a guy that likes redheads that he really needs to be like everyone else and stick to blondes and brunettes.:giggling:
