looking at this:

and thinking: what is going on with the market. 2 years and we're looking at 1/2 value--nobody's bidding higher? no bueno!

H3 Buyer to be?

I was going to post, but this may be a good chance to say this. Since the SUT is like $53K new, shouldn't there be some available used at like $44 or less?

WHERE ARE THEY?

My dealer called me today to tell me that he had an 03 with 15K miles for about $39K if I wanted it rather than waiting on my H3. Said it had cloth interior. I didn't know you could ever get an H2 with cloth.

They will never let it go for that price---they will re-bid or sell it at auction.

34K is a good price for that color at auction.

In Western PA orange is a hot color. Used ones go fast.

Same thing happens with the H1's. They end at pretty reasonable prices, but hardly ever meet the reserve...

This is hateful... but im going to share it anyways!!
I just spoke with a Landrover dealer who advised he just sent a 05 Lux. package H2 to auction and took a 3k hit on it... it went for 45K with only 5 thousand miles on it... the H2 was perfect... with Sunroof and Nav system.

Of course a Land Rover dealer is going to tell you a story like that... what is he selling?

Looks like the seller had a couple of nasty feedback comments, and on a high ticket item that's a killer on Ebay.

poor feedback isn't ever good. personally, i like the orange, and they would definitely be a hot item in the custom world, but not the everyday world. or perhaps for those who like something a different. plus, you have to consider that the majority are buying vehicles with better fuel economy right now.

I wouldn't mind getting a H2 at that price. Just to give you a clue:
A new H2 here in Germany starts at 93600$
and is a quite expensive Vehicle with a gasprice
of 6.49$ a gallon....
But hey... I'll have one, one of these days.
And if it is though an auction like that.

Why complain about the used price when you are all happy with your H2's? There is no need to sell then.

Reserve Not Met - so he can be asking $45k for all we know. Many times people list the auctions very low but set high reserves.

A better way to see what they sell for used is to search for H2 and view "Completed Items". The listings in green actually met the reserve and sold.
