Im working on my parking break on my 95 H1. I bought it and it didnt work at all. So I adjusted the nut at the crossbar that pulls the two cables, no luck. The calipers arnt moving at all....SO....whats the next step? Anyone have any ideas. Thanks

Spray everything with PB Bolt Buster....? That would probably be my first suggestion. Seems to free up corrosion, which I understand is the usual culprit for a frozen parking brake.

Also, make sure you have the parking brake handle twisted so that you have tension in it. I mean, you should have probably noticed by now if you don't (it would be loose). But I think to tighten it you would twist the top section of it clockwise.

Do you mean PB Penetrating Catalyst? I did a quick search for PB Bolt Buster and it came up with that. The rear caliper were the cable connects does look pretty corroded also. Thank you for the suggestion...Ill deffinitly try that!

The springs are either seized, or the eccentric that actuates the parking brakes are shot. Aubs suggested a good first step. If lubing them does not work its either time for new calipers, or too rebuild the ones you have. Personally, I would replace them with remans, it will set you back about 400.00, but that will be the best long term solution. The cables themselves tend to freeze up, mostly due to lack of use, I would just be done with it and replace them as well.

Thanks for the heads up. The cables do move, it just seems the springs dont move at all, either from rust or seized. I hope the lube works. I just picked this H1 up about 2 weeks ago and im slowly getting all the bugs out of it:)
