When are the 2008 H2's gonna hit the dealerships??

Hi guys, long time lurker, first time poster.

When are the 2008 H2's gonna hit the dealerships??

My dealer dosent know and my H2 SUT lease is up in July. Its an 2nd car so I can wait until winter to replace it, but I'm always antsy in the pantsy to get a new vehicle. I'm scared I'll get a Denali or Escalade before the 403 horse H2 makes its debut. 403 H.P. and 25% better mpg?

I checked with the dealers here and they says that orders can be placed approx end of July begining of August and 2 months after for delivery.. Just in time for Winter.. :excited:

dont fall for another suv but the h2!!!!!!! Just drive the other car. Or make yourself a bet with a friend that you can wait or something to hold you off till it comes in! Or buy an h3 drive that for two or three months and get the 08 h2 when that comes out. Or you can just by pass it all and go straight for a slightly used H1 Alpha, unfortunatly i know most of us cant do that.

Dennis... you must be talking about Dueck right? I'm going there later this week to pickup my 07 H2, so if they have any I'll confirm and take some pics... I'll post if they have any.

They have the 2009 in my dealership here, its got the Duramax with an Allison 6 speed.

Dealers were able to put in their first order for 08 H2s TODAY...they'll be here septemberish.

The switch to 2008 production won't happen until at least the 2nd week of July. Some retooling has to take place first.

If you see a new H2 with silver bumpers and new style rims, that's the 2008 model. Those are the only obvious outside changes, aside from a couple new colors. The new interior is great, especially in the new color Brick!

Black and White are staying of course, along with the All-terrain Blue (dark blue) too.

Slate Blue is going to be called Stealth Grey, it looks like exactly the same color when parked next to a 2007.

The pewter is going away, and is replaced with the grey you can see in the pictures sticky, I forget the name of it though. I think itt looks great, I would describe it as the same as pewter only with no brown in it.

Yellow is going away as well, and in its place will be Inferno Orange Metallic. This color is very orange with a little bit of red in it and then a hint of gold flake when the sun hits it at the right angle. This would be my personal choice if I were in the market for a 2008 H2 :)

That gray is called "Graystone Metallic" That's the one I ordered.. :jump:
