Hit a Cirque show.

Zumanity:It's Vegas, be a little provocative. ZUMANITY, The Sensual Side of Cirque du Soleil, is a seductive twist on reality, making the provocative playful and the forbidden electrifying! Leave all inhibitions at the door and let loose as this adult-themed production takes you on a sexy thrill ride full of sensational acrobatics and naughty fun. Part burlesque and part cabaret, ZUMANITY is one full night you'll never forget! Now that's a Las Vegas show!
KA:K? by Cirque du Soleil is an unprecedented theatrical event. A masterpiece in storytelling, K? uses acrobatic performances, the thrills and action of martial arts techniques from all over the world, plus innovations in puppetry and multimedia to tell the epic tale of twins on a perilous journey to fulfill their shared destiny.
There's also Love, Mystere and O.

Pure at Ceasars is popular with celebs as well as Ghostbar on the top of the Palms.

Zumanity was good. I went for a helicopter ride last time which was fun, went over the dam and into the Grand Canyon.

The wife and I are planning a trip to vegas for this august. We really want to take the tour in the heli. I would like to take a trip out to see the hover dam.

I know that KenP said New york, New york but does anyone else have any suggestions. It is hard to get a good review online. You read the negative reviews and the yuppies are pissed becasue they had to wait 15-20 minutes to check in or their bed wasn't turned down. Who gives a _ _ _ _! There is like 4000 people in a hotel and you expect to just walk in. The wife likes the New York, New york so you know how that goes.

We are going to catch a cirque show because we loved the one that we saw here in Atlanta.

I just mentioned NYNY because I came across that deal. I stayed there several years ago when Vegas was trying to go the "family" route. It wasn't that pleasant in the gaming area because of all the kids running around. I'm sure that's changed since Vegas is getting back to it's roots.

When CP and I got married we stayed at the Luxor. It was convenient and very nice. I'd stay there again, but not in the pyramid. The elevators are inconvenient to many rooms so I'd stay in a tower.

PM Albie, he lives there and is always partying.

Wynn all the way. Also the best Cirque show now is "Love" at the Mirage. I either stay at Bellagio or now my new favorite the Wynn.

We looked at the Bellagio online and really liked the way it looked. It was the one where I read the bad reviews about having to wait to check in:violin: Pretty cool too since it was in a movie!

If you stay at the Stratosphere, don't plan to walk to the main section of the strip after dark. Right across from the entrance to the Strat is a rough section of neighborhoods.

Remember, if you take a cab to the older casinos downtown, report any bastard that takes you the long way through the bypass.

Enjoy your trip!

The last time we were in Vegas we took a Champagne Bruch Helicopter trip into the Grand Canyon. It was AWESOME!!

They land in the Canyon(Native American Part), and we had a Champagne Bruch right beside the Colorodo River!!

This low level flight in state of the art equipment will take you over the magnificent awe inspiring Grand Canyon West, Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. As you near the canyon you will fly over the Black Mountains, Grape Vine Mesa then across the Grand Wash Cliffs and enter the Grand Canyon. Here you will descend approximately 4,000 feet and land on the floor of the canyon at the Hualapai Indian reservation. This is the only place in the Canyon that aircraft are allowed to fly in and land. Champagne brunch along the banks of the Colorado River is included. Your flight back to Las Vegas includes a tour of the famous 'Las Vegas Strip'.

OMG, Is it Fremont Street? I think so. Blocks of it are covered by a screen of some sort over head and they have light shows and stuff- really neat.

Yeah, here is a link. I was amazed, it is in the older part I believe. It has shows on a very frequent schedule and you don't have to stop walking or anything. Kinda trippy.
