Mine works as just a remote starter and does not interfere with passlock systems.

I had a code alarm 2 way security system, keyless entry and remote start installed in my H2 a week after buying it. Love the remote start and being able to light her up walking up in the dark. Plus its cool when I get in cuz the a/c has been cranking for a few minutes. About 320 bucks installed.

I just upgraded to the Compustar Pro P2W9000FMR. It's COOL!! The tech at my HUMMER dealership set it so when I start it in the winter, the heated seats come on!! Around $600 installed.

I've got the Viper 5900SST, love it.

You'll need a passlock bypass like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220147382104&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=012

Uses databus.

geez....here I thought I was cool with the factory remote on the 08 H2, but it doesnt do anywhere near the stuff that the aftermarket ones do. It does sense the temperature and will fire up the a/c if it is hot and will fire up the heater and heated seats when its cold though.

What all does that fob do? Looks like it has all sorts of stuff on the display.

I got a G5 a while back. Has remote start, double killswitch and code entry. Evertime you drive off, put it into park and then back to drive.... or a door is opened will in drive.... if you drive away, it will require a code. If you dont enter the code, the motor will shut off, alarm will go off and there is NO WAY to turn here back on unless you enter the right code. Oh, if your battery dies, i had an auxilary horn installed that would go off if you try to cut its lead or your battery dies with the alarm firing.

Kinda overkill, but there is no way your driving away with my truck!!! You can defeat it your doing quick stops to a gas station or publics! :)
