Seems like everyone posting a repair waits forever for parts... tie rods, fuel pumps, pulleys, steering shaft.

What's with the supply issues?

Tie rods were changed to commonize the parts. They are now available.
Who says the rest are on back-order?

The only parts not on back order are Finished Goods items (just kidding). Fully built H3's are sitting on lots in large numbers collecting dust ready for buyers. Get 'em while selection is good.

But we do seem to have a lot of forum members who've spent time waiting for parts, myself included.

There was the tie rod slow down, and the cylinder head slow down. The head problem was instead of servicing the head as a bare head, having the techs switch out the valves, springs, etc., they decided to have the heads built up at a factory. That cause some slow down on parts.
I haven't heard anything about the fuel pumps, probably a standard with many other vehicles.

If there are any large number of backordered parts I would like to know. Now that the tie rod issue has been corrected (I hope for ever), I need something to bug people about until I leave for Utah on the 30th.:D

Ordered my spare tierod last Thursday and picked it up yesterday.... 3 days to get the inner and outer tie rod not to bad...... Question for f5fstop... If I end up replacing the 14MM on the trial with the 16MM. Should I replace the other side so they are both the same?????

Not required; they are side dependent only. It would just mean the 16mm side is a bit beefier than the other side.
