Why all this dwelling on the negative? How about a poll for all the fun stuff we've done with our H3's? ;) :D

the only mechanical issue i have had is a check 4wd light
this happened alot during the first 5,000 miles, but now i get it like once every 500 or 1,000 miles. it has had no effect on performance and i am convinced that it is just a false alarm.

now, for the positive:
1) i am still really impressed with my h3.
2) i have had it since august 2005
3) i have put 16,500 miles on it (luckily i have a short commute to work)
4) it has not been to the dealer even once.
5) my wife likes riding in it
5) my friends dig it
6) it flies over washboard road here in baja and really absorbs vibrations well - this is with the stock tires, wheels and suspension for the adventure package
7) it has held itself together very well
8) i have had a few loose things that simply require that i occasionally need to park on the beach, crawl under it with some wrenches and check to be sure all the bolts and such are tight. i see this as a positive since it gives me an excuse to lay on the beach!
9) it has great clearance
10) it has plenty of power for me, eventhough i have been driving v8's for the last 20 years
11) chicks still eyeball me, which is great since i am now a member of the "over 40" crowd
12) it still looks brand new, because i treat it well
13) i have it waxed every 30 days - this keeps the scratches to a minimum, since they just penetrate the wax and not the paint
14) a friend of mine bought an FJ a year after i bought my h3 and his FJ is already a pile of sh*t! loose, rattles like hell, doors dont fit in the door jams right anymore. So, that makes my h3 look even better when it is parked next to that thing!

how you like that, sewie????

i could probably go on for a while, but in looking at everything that is available out there, there is only one off road vehicle that i would rather have --- and that is an h1 alpha - which i am currently in the market for.

if you know of a nice one, diesel, low miles, low abuse, low bling, light color, original rims with on the fly tire pressure control - let me know!

You know what...????
My 3 is the Breast's..(Can't say the "T" word) It rocks.. Can't say enough good things about the rig.

The best I can say is.. Hat's off to the General, and all the Engineer's who did there thing with the 3. There's been some up's and downs with some things ..but all and all........

A Job Well Done..
